Spiritus Natalis 2025

The “Spiritus Natalis” cycle returns to the city’s most iconic monument with live music, multimedia projections and an immersive Christmas experience that transforms the interior of the Clérigos Church into a setting of light, emotion and togetherness.

In 2025, innovation becomes tradition in the heart of the Clérigos. From 4 December to 2 January, the church interior will be illuminated once again for the immersive concert series Spiritus Natalis, a joint initiative by the creative studio OCUBO and the Irmandade dos Clérigos. The programme revisits some of the greatest Christmas classics in a fresh, contemporary way, bringing past and future together in an experience designed to engage all the senses.

More than a concert, Spiritus Natalis invites a shared celebration where the history and architecture of the Clérigos gain new life through light, sound and technology. The result is an atmosphere of contemplation that aims to mark Porto’s festive season and redefine the way national and international visitors connect with the city’s cultural heritage.

Inspired by the world of Spiritus — the award-winning first immersive show of the Clérigos Church — the Spiritus Natalis cycle will take place exclusively on 4, 11, 18, 26 and 27 December, and on 2 January.
