Clérigos by Night | Special Summer 2026

With the arrival of summer, one of Porto’s most iconic and eagerly awaited experiences returns: Clérigos by Night. From 3 July to 11 October 2026, Clérigos Tower will once again open its doors after sunset, inviting visitors to discover Porto from a truly unique perspective.

When the sun sets, Clérigos reveals a new side of the city.

More than simply a climb to the top of the Tower, Clérigos by Night offers a moment of discovery, allowing visitors to experience Porto in an atmosphere of tranquillity and charm that is difficult to find during the day. The combination of the monument’s grandeur, the magic of summer evenings, and panoramic views over the city creates a distinctive experience, capable of surprising both first-time visitors and those who know Porto well.

After ascending the Tower’s 225 steps, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of the city illuminated by the fading light of dusk and the glow of Porto’s evening skyline. It is a scene of remarkable beauty that transforms a visit to one of Portugal’s most iconic monuments into a memorable experience, where heritage and landscape come together.

Over the years, this initiative has become a highlight of Porto’s summer programme, attracting thousands of visitors and reinforcing Clérigos as one of the city’s most important symbols, as well as a privileged space for celebrating heritage, culture, and Porto’s unique identity.
