Travelling exhibition “The Clérigos Tower”, by photographer Sergio Jacques.

The exhibition “The Clérigos Tower”, by photographer Sergio Jacques, opened on 1 September at the “Sea Porto Hotel, your hotel in Matosinhos”.
Promoted by TACITUS, with the support of the Clérigos Brotherhood, the exhibition is part of the celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of architect Nicolau Nasoni’s arrival in Portugal.
At the opening, alongside speeches by the photographer and Magda Ferrinha, manager of the hotel, Fernando Rocha, Councillor for Culture of Matosinhos City Council, also addressed the guests.
Before the opening, historian Joel Cleto led a visit to Matosinhos Church, located just a few metres from the hotel. The church underwent significant interventions by Nicolau Nasoni in the mid-18th century.
The exhibition will be on display at this location until the end of October.
